NFL Football Starts August 13th!!!

I can't wait until football starts!  I am already set in both my fantasy football leagues.  The first one I've been in for years now (5 years if not more...I lost count)!  And the second one we just started here in Hawaii.  It's the JR Rockers (Hickam AFB's Enlisted Club) Fantasy Football League.  Our live draft will be Aug. 30th, so I will be purchasing my fantasy football "cheat sheet" magazine so I can read up on all the must have players.  Only 2 more weeks until preseason!  WHOOOO HOOOO!

My Next Christmas Present?

I came across this Kindle while surfing through Amazon.com today!  I WANT it!  It's so cool.  I can read anytime, anywhere without carrying around a bulky book.  Plus it's only about $10 per book and it saves paper/trees!  Click on the Kindle link to watch the demo video and feel free to leave a comment about what you think of it.  In the meantime, all my readers out there, pass the word to Todd that this is what I want for Christmas!!!!

The World of Twitter

Some of you may have notice the new widget on my right sidebar.  I recently signed up on Twitter and I LOVE it.  It's like blogging and texting in one!  All messages can only be a maximum of 140 characters.  I can "follow" (receive messages from other people I choose) or be "followed" (others receive my messages).  I have it set up so my "tweets" (messages sent) go directly to my phone.  I can also pick and choose if I want certain peoples tweets sent to the phone or not so if I'm following 30 people, my phone won't  be blowing up every 10 minutes.  Thank goodness for unlimited texting plans!  The other thing I like is it's in real time, meaning if you are at Starbucks and want some company, you can tweet everyone and if they are recieveing it through thier phone they'll get it that instant and can meet up with you.
