Bisquick Fruit Swirl Coffee Cake

Check out this quick and easy to make cake from Betty Crocker and Bisquick!  I recently purchased 2 new cookbooks, Betty Crocker Best Bisquick Recipes and Bisquick II Cookbook.  Every recipe includes Bisquick!  Not all of them are healthy, but I do have to say there a few using the new Heart Healthy Bisquick mix as well.  The coffee cake I made is really easy to make and needs very few ingredients, you probably have all of the stuff on hand right now in your pantry.  Watch the video, learn the recipe and try to make your own version.  Lemon Blueberry?  Peach? Sewing Machine Arrival!

Let's get stitching!  I got my sewing machine this morning and already finished the curtains for the "kitchen nook" area.  I was so excited.  Did you know you can sew without a foot pedal?!?  Yes, with my machine I can!  There's a button I push and it will automatically start sewing.  To make it stop, push the button again.  All day today I was trying to get used to that by constantly moving my foot around looking for the pedal.  I love this sewing machine!  I feel like I've arrived into the 21st century!  I'm really inspired now and might start taking a sewing class down the road from my house.  Either that or once again attempt to teach myself (that didn't work last time since I STILL have 2 patterns attached to their cut out fabrics waiting to be put together).  I'm just glad I have such an easy machine to use.  This is definitely recommended to any newbie sewers like me!

Check out my curtains!  I even did a bottom panel (not that it can be seen).  Little Todd said it looks like a "Grandma print" but I like it. It brings in all the colors of the kitchen and the "nook" area.  Can't wait to make more!
